The Loneliest Whale in the World.
In 2004, The New York Times wrote an article about the loneliest whale in the world. Scientists have been tracking her since 1992 and they discovered the problem:
She isn’t like any other baleen whale. Unlike all other whales, she doesn’t have friends. She doesn’t have a family. She doesn’t belong to any tribe, pack or gang. She doesn’t have a lover. She never had one. Her songs come in groups of two to six calls, lasting for five to six seconds each. But her voice is unlike any other baleen whale. It is unique—while the rest of her kind communicate between 12 and 25hz, she sings at 52hz. You see, that’s precisely the problem. No other whales can hear her. Every one of her desperate calls to communicate remains unanswered. Each cry ignored. And, with every lonely song, she becomes sadder and more frustrated, her notes going deeper in despair as the years go by.

this is actually one of the saddest things ive read on here/ever

I wish you fought for me harder,

iamlittlemermaid:

instead you just let me go so easily, as if you never cared about me. You let go of all the memories, the feelings, and the promises. I just wish you knew how much it hurt.. How much it hurt to see you leave without considering how I felt about you. You mean so much to me, and now you’re gone, you left, and you showed me you aren’t worth the effort to chase after.

I think I’m in love. And it kills me. Knowing that you can’t love me back. I’m afraid. I’m frightened that I would be rejected. I think I love you from the very start. But I can’t fight it. You’re already engraved in my heart. You’re too dashing not to notice you. And I hate you for that :(

Seriously, there is no difference. Both are human beings.
To kill a human being is not a right.
Call it whatever you want, it’s still murder.
